A new location means new standards? I ate at the old place across the street & while it was crowded, it was good food! The new place is not. Watery salsa & stale chips cost extra & the cactus on the salad was super slimey! Smaller portions & higher prices to pay for the move, I guess! I won't be going again.

there has obviously been some major improvements here! Went for lunch at the busiest hour and had great service and food! Shrimp Burrito was awesome and so is there Guacamole! Will be back soon!

i ordered from here on a whim a few years ago and have been a regular ever since. i have had everything but the burritos are a favorite- good ground beef- carne molita- burritos are a rare find! they are always very accommodating and prompt and at the restaurant they greet you with a lot of warmth (which is another plus for the upper east side!) the quaint, clean restaurant is a LOT of fun for a night out, try the sangria or margaritas.. and over all, the tasty food (warning- i am not mexican and not sure if this is authentic or not, but extremely yummy to a 'gringo'!) quick delivery service and unbelievable prices have made it a staple in my routine! thanks el paso! :)

We order from this restaurant and visit a few times a month. We like their dishes. The meat is well seasoned and authentic. The margaritas are very tasty.

never been to restaurant, but order delivery regularly. orders come promptly and correctly. love this place.

we had high hopes that this el paso would get better after it reopened... but somehow the service has just gotten worse. They have a new happy hour 4-6. I ordered two drinks between the allotted time and they only gave me the happy hour price on the first one. When I pointed this out, after waiting 30 min to get his attention, he pretended not to understand what I was saying.

I ordered a burrito platter for delivery. When it arrived they sent only a burrito, over charging me by 50% and messing up my order. When I called, they recognised the mistake and told me that they were sending my food over. I settled in to eat my burrito, awaiting my beans and rice. When the delivery person arrived he demanded that I give him my half eaten burrito back in exchange for a new platter. I explained to him that I had already started eating the burrito, it was several stories away, and I only expected my beans and rice in the first place. He shrugged and turned over the entire new burrito platter. His manager then called to demand my half eaten burrito!! Again, I decline and told him he could have his pristine burrito platter back as long as he refunded me the difference in cash. He argued with me for several minutes before agreeing. When his delievery person finally arrived for the third time he refused to give my money! It took a phone call and several minutes of negotiating to get my much deserved money back. I just wanted to either eat the food I ordered, or to pay the correct price for the food they gave me. Clearly these people have never heard the saying that the customer is always right.
