We never had a bad meal, staff is polite and consistent over the years, large portions and just really good Mexican food with a lot of flavor.

The service on their deliveries is poor, but the food is so very good that it is incredibly worth it. If I had to choose my last meal, it would be their chimichangas. Not only are the entres themselves great, but the rice is never dry, and the beans are seasoned to perfection. Totally worth it; especially when dining in rather than ordering out.

El Paso is by far one of the best mexican restaurants with authentic recipes and it should be in the midtown area but i don't mind traveling to harlem to enjoy the traditional mexican food they serve chef raul vazquez is also a very well recognized among the culinary family keeping consistency and flavor on every single dish congratulations to el paso and Iron Chef Raul Vasquez!

This is Mexican food made by Mexicans, authentically and fresh. I know my Mexican food pretty well and believe that this place could give the higher end Mexican spots in the city a run for the money. Sure, you don't have the ambiance of a Jean Geroges restaurant, but if the quality of the food is what matters to you, then this is the spot to go.

Ate there the other night and I was surprised how fresh everything was. It made everything taste so good. As well as the margarita's they were great as well. :)

Last night, my boyfriend and I called for delivery. They got both our burritos wrong - no big deal, it happens. We called the restaurant to let them know and we were transferred to the manager. He sent back the delivery man to pick up what we had not yet eaten and he then called us back. He stated up front that while he saw that they had made a mistake, he would only send us one replacement burrito (rather than both our dinners) because we had eaten "more than one bite." After ordering from El Paso at least once a month for 5 years, we were hardly trying to scam them out of a $7 burrito. It is a shame that they don't show their customers the same sort of loyalty.

A new location means new standards? I ate at the old place across the street & while it was crowded, it was good food! The new place is not. Watery salsa & stale chips cost extra & the cactus on the salad was super slimey! Smaller portions & higher prices to pay for the move, I guess! I won't be going again.
