Superb Mexican food at very reasonable prices. The Tacos Al Pastor were delicious, the guacamole as good as I've ever had, and the refried beans were head and shoulders above any I've ever had...rich and full of flavor. Great staff, friendly and accommodating. This was a great informal spot to grab dinner before an engagement at Lincoln Center, in a part of town where good affordable options aren't common. Only one quibble...They don't serve coffee! Wha?! Otherwise all aces. (and if you DO want coffee with your dessert, there's a Magnolia Bakery right down the block.) If you don'r care about the coffee, there ARE a couple of delicious sounding desserts on the menu...a Tres Leches Cake and Churros.

My fiance went here when they first opened last year and told me about an amazing sandwich. The sabina. He couldnt wait for me to go. We went the following weekend and tried most of the dishes. Everything was terrific. We go frequently and have brought many of our friends who are now fans as well. One friend in particular from mexico came with me. She was the true test and with no coaching told me it tasted like her grandma's cooking, so authentic. The staff is so warm and friendly, always welcome you with big smiles. Everyone needs to try!

had dinner with my wife and some friends the other night. i'm not big into Mexican food but was pleasantly surprised with the food. not your typical Tex/Mex but as someone said earlier more like a food truck. will definately go back. only issue was not alot of seating, but it was worth the short wait.

If they have the fresh watermelon juice GET IT. It will change your life. Dining in? The margaritas are authentic and delicious. The food is outstanding. I suggest the Sabina. Also, the corn soup thing. WOW.

Legit Mexican food on the UWS! The Braised Lamb Taquitos are to die for. Thanks Pablo for your excellent service! We will be back to grab a bite before or after a movie frequently.
