I was very excited after I found this place - truely wonderful pernil, and I have also had the best roast chicken, and a nicely done octopus stew. There is a simplicity about the service and the food that I admire. No need for gimmicks here - just do the basics well. I love it.

this restaurant is the best restaurant of Brooklyn and maybe even NY. I love the food there, it is amazing, the chicken is the best, they got the chickens roasting there all day long. The portions are huge, enough for two and a half people, all the food is great. Its the best Dominican food I ever tasted. The service is very good too. The people are very friendly and cooperate nicely. The place looks very nice, but can look nicer. Overall I rate this restaurant a 5!!

I go to this place often with my friends and family. It has the best Latin food around, especially for the prices. The rotisserie chicken is delicious. We often buy one to have at home on weeks when we are too busy to cook. The portions are big enough for two meals. The mofongo with pork is kind of oily but very good. Although its exterior isn't very appealing, the inside is passable. Once you start eating and talking, you'll forget everything.

I loved it it's a small but great place to eat if you're looking for good spanish food. The Broiled Chicken pollo al horno delicious. I had the breast which is usually dry in some restaurants but this place is fantastic! It was juicy and very tasty and the beans were awesome great taste. Although the price was good, I get more in the BX. But no complaints because its definitely a gem in the neighborhood great food!

A neighborhood gem. The cappuccino is phenomenal. The chicken, plantains and Cuban sandwiches are great. And you can't go wrong for the price. The atmosphere is very basic and the guys at the counter are generally more attentive than the dining room waitresses, however the Gran Castillo is an incredible value.

The restaurant is always packed and its for a good reason. The food is amazing and and a great deal for the price. Each bite warms your body and makes you feel as if you are having a home cooked meal. I especially recommend the pork mofungo, the rotisserie chicken, avocado salad, and yellow rice with black beans. Everthing is delicious and prepared with just the right spices to make your mouth water. The servers are friendly and the restaurant is clean. Great for take out, fast delivery and the order is always correct. It's a regular habit for myself and my fiancee.

New to the neighborhood and found this awesome place. Love the pot roast and pepper steak spanish style chicken. This is my favorite little spot in the nabe!
