the price is perfect and the quantity of the food is beyond what i expected i loved it i will go back anytime

I went to El Conde last night. I ordered the skirt steak and sshrimp. On the menu the price was $20.00. When rhe bill arrived it was $37.00 for the skirt steak. I call the waitress over and she spoke not english. So she had the waiter tell me because it came with rice and beans it was $37.00. So you mean to tell me that rice and beans are $17.00? I have heard from other friends that if you do not speak spanish they try to take advantge of you. The food was great and I enjoyed the place and would have left a great tip. So buyer beware.

My wife and I always go to eat at El Conde when we are in Washington Heights, she orders the Churrasco and I usually get the Conde Style T-Bone or the Filet Mignon. I also recommend the Black Bean rice with Yellow Plantains. The food here is delicious with ample portions. Excellent food, impecable service and a very nice atmosphere.

Went to see Annie Lennox and decided to eat there before the show. The place was packed, but the wait was well worth it. I speak spanish fluently so I just asked the waiter to bring me his suggestions. The wife had an order of Salmon a la plancha , and the waiter brought me an order of grilled chicken seasoned deliciously and smothered in onions. Main courses accompanied by salad, rice and beans, and an order of tostones, which were also very good. Finished it off w/ Flan for dessert and a black spanish coffee. This place is excellent and highly recommend to anyone going to a show at the United Palace Theater.

I have gone to El Conde twice and ordered out once. The food is excellent and the portions are generous when eating in. When ordering out, the portions, especially the skirt steak, are much smaller, and the price doesn't change. If you speak Spanish, it is a plus, as many of the wait staff either only speak Spanish, or refuse to speak English. If you do not speak Spanish, this is difficult when trying to express how you would like your meal cooked. The food is worth the trip here, and hopefully they will soon start welcoming the English speaking community.

The food here is Excellent . The meat here is THE BEST. I would go back in a heart beat. However the service is the poor.

The first time i came to this restaurant, i couldnt help but fal in love with the food. It's great.
