Even though it looks like a diner or truck stop this place has the Best Dominican food around - wonderful friendly service and prices that cannnot be beat.. The servings are extremely generous and one serving can feed 2 easily. The rice and beans are just like my mom's - perfect. Loved the breaded steak. Try it out and you will be hooked.

I stumbled upon this place a few months ago and have been there at least 8 times since! Amazing sancocho (only available on certain days), fresh juices- I like the carrot/orange, the BEST cuban sandwich I've ever had, and the fish in garlic white sauce is outstanding, though very rich. Also amazing french fries and the flan is out of this world! A great value and also speedy delivery...though the times I have been to the restaurant the service at the table wasn't so great. The servers seem to completely forget about you once they put the food on your table. But with this value and quality of food? I can put up with it...

Good, inexpensive place to eat. The portions are large and you can defenitely share one dish. I have been going to this restaurant since I was a child. The tropical fruit shakes are great and very filling. Don't be surprised by its simple decor, you can get the NY Times in the morning while drinking a Cafe con Leche. Most important of all, don't forget to bring a piece of gum with you for after the meal.

For good authentic dominican food El Castillo is the place to go. This place is the closest I have come to food that taste like mom's kitchen.

I've been going to El Castillo since their establishment. I've never been dissatisfied with their food. It's a friendly environment, and the staff take pride in what they do.

I'm Dominican, and I've been visiting this place since I was a kid for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is great, I love the atmosphere, very comfortable. The service is good, sometimes when they're busy they're not very attentive though. But the food and the prices make up for that. I highly recommend the papaya shake, even if you don't like papaya. Cause I don't like it, but the shake is awesome.
