    cheap and very good

very good food. Eat the baked chicken and the garlic shrimp. The rice is good as well. Basically the food will blow your balls off. my girlfriend said that this review i wrote is dumb. But i think its good... just like the food.

    Dear El Castillo,

I love you. You're cheap and delicious (that's what she said, whoooo!) but I really wish you guys would get another regular delivery guy. He grosses me out. He's slimy. Even though he's always wearing shades, you can still feel his eyes. He stands a few seconds too long staring at you and smirking after you pay him. Now obviously, I love your food or else I wouldn't continue to order delivery knowing there's a 97% chance it'll be him. I just think that I shouldn't have to silently cheer to myself when for some reason he's not the one who shows up at my door. Love, Me

    Yum!

Castillo is great, authentic Dominican food, almost as good as my abuelita makes! Good sized portions for cheap, fast delivery, and I personally think the restaurant itself is pretty cute, despite being very diner-esque. If you're looking for great latin food, it's Castillo all the way!

    Won-der-Full

I come here every weekend with my family. Their servings are tremedous! You have enough food for two days unless you're very hungry. Since it's only a 15 minute train ride from my job, I go about once a month for lunch during work. My co-workers fell in love with the richness and quantity of the food. So we make it a once a month for every deal. Also, if you're a little on the poor side, this a great place like I mentioned above to have a meal for more than one sitting. I give this place an A++. -)

I live in the Lower and anytime someone is in the neighborhood and is looking for spainsh food I always recommend El Castillo de Jagua. I love this place especially after going there for the past 10 yrs. This is the best Spainsh restaurant in the Lower.
