    Best afterwork Bar...

I love this place...this is like the best afterwork place...it is pretty small but its great..the drinks are tasty and cheap..and the appetizers are also good....i would definitely recommend this place..

    bland

When we walked in the place was empty and there were 4 waiters who saw us but nobody greeted us for 2 minutes. When we were finally acknowledged, we were offhandedly pointed where to sit instead of being led to a table. They got our drink order wrong, the food was quite bland, and the fried ice cream coating was stale :( When we were done the waiter wrote the 20% suggested tip at the top of our receipt

    First Mexican Resturant !

Im a college student in NYC , and yesterday was my FIRST time coming to this resturant. Me & my friends had SO much fun for my friend birthday ! The waiters are very nice & interactive. The food was GREAT & the area was nice. I deffinately will recommend this for first time mexicanfood eaters like me.

    El DON'T! tiero

We went here after all the MP good reviews, even a friend recommendation, and the food was sub par -not fresh comes to mind. Expensive for Mexican food. Margs were just OK. There was also a huge club upstairs. Random. Verdict: you can get better food and value other places in the city. Why pay lots of $$$ for food that's NOT that great?

8 years and still going strong

Love this place - been going there forever. Salsa is terrific, margaritas are strong and the sangria is the best. I love sitting in the garden and just hanging out. I've engaged in a little debauchery in the bar upstairs, but had a blast each time!

    Happy Hour!

Excellent place for happy hour. Their drinks are strong and you get free appetizers. They tend to be strict on their ID policy, so you usually don't have to worry about a lot of rowdy NYU/Cooper Union kids. I'm not a huge fan of their entrees. Everything is pretty much covered in cheese. Their appetizers are great and their drinks while a bit pricey regularly are worth it. Great place for Cinco de Mayo, but you want to get there early!

    Excellent

Would definately go back here. My boyfriend & I had a wonderful time. Food was great & sangria was delicious! Cute & cozy atmosphere w/ a decent price list.
