I discovered this place after spending the afternoon at a friend's house. He insisted that I try the chicharones de pollo with tostones. I was not dissapointed. The food is the best I've tasted from a Dominican restaurant in Washington Heights. Unfortunately the place is too small to eat comfortably but as a take out spot it is the best. An order of chicharones de pollo (fried chicken chunks) with rice, beans and plantains only cost me about 12 dollars and the portion was big enough to feed a family of four (as a poor college student you can't beat that price) The service is also great. everyone is friendly and accomodating.
