Velvety smooth, creamy, rich tuna and egg salads
I cannot speak highly enough about the tuna salad here. Fresh, silken, divine. Get it on white toast for a little crunch with that smoothness. Have a chocolate egg creme with it. Was that Bosco syrup they used? Think so and I love it! And do not miss egg salad. Fresh egg flavor. Good to know some things never change!

New York main stay
My favorite is tuna sandwich on rye toast with lettuce and mayo, cup of soup, chocolate egg cream...Also great for eggs (request bacon crisp), coffee, burgers, BLTs, corned beef, pastrami, grilled cheese, milkshakes, etc. Why go here when there are so many great NYC eateries? Here you can find the NYC of yesteryear, a hint of the Jewish deli, mixed with the old-fashioned luncheonette. Here you may find a lithe supermodel sitting on a stool next to a UPS delivery man.

Cold grilled cheese not my favorite lunch
Ordered for the clients, who requested Eisenberg's sandwiches. Took over an hour, and every time we called we were told "yours is the next one". We even offered to go pick it up, so the food wouldn't be cold. And as I suspected, when it did arrive, we had congealed grilled cheese. Not worth the inconsistency.

A homey oasis
The best chocolate egg cream I ever drank, served with a smile on a hot dusty day. Delightful waitresses, wonderful history and character, and an excellent tuna melt - all in all, a homey oasis in the middle of the city.

Best evah!
My search for the perfect corned beef sandwich ends here... lean, tasty, moist, everything I wanted and more. Pass me a pickle, and my experience is complete. Oh wait, except for a hunk of that AMAZING carrot cake. Who makes that??? All I know is, it's worth abandoning every diet for. And speaking of hunks, have you seen the owner of Eisenberg's? Mmmmmm....

A Joke
Not fresh at all, canned tuna. Also, .25$ for a takeout container? It is just a quatrer but everyone gets takeout there because it is unappealing inside!
