Amazing Joint from 1920's
This place has it all, it gives you the feel of an olde tyme sandwich shop. I recommend the whitefish salad, egg salad and tuna. Delivery is very quick, but I would advise eating in, the place is a gem.

A NICE TRIP BACK IN TIME
Amidst the the hustle and bustle of 5th Avenue in the Flatiron District, a little hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop stands, immortalized in time, untouched by the trends of current eateries. The food is simple, down to earth, and delicious. The service is friendly, sincere, and unpretentious. I ordered the tuna salad on whole wheat toast and a chocolate egg cream. Both came quickly, with no frills, and tasted exactly as it should--good. I love this place. It's a nice haven, a sanctuary from all the glitz and gentrification that has washed over Manhattan. I would come here again and again, if only to savor a nice trip back in time.

I defy you to make better egg salad
After reading the various reviews below, I decided after a hot summer day marching in my stilettos to cool my heels with some creamy, rich egg salad, I had seen a few opinions on here and wanted to see for myself. The answer? A slice of heaven - egg style. If you disagree I would love a reason why - please tell mama. She's still cooling her feet!

Eggs!
Went there recently and when asked what I wanted I said "a double egg salad on white toast and a hot chocolate honey". Well, when the sandwich came it was overflowing with gorgeous egg salad. I wanted to be a lady and leave a few morsels on my plate, but was quite simply unable to. I was overpowered. Washed down with hot chocolately cocoa, it was simply sublime. I plan to go back, and take beano before.

Best egg salad in town???
You must be joking. The egg salad was terrible. As was the turkey sandwich that my husband ordered. I don't understand the great reviews for this place.

The Best Egg Salad Sandwich in town!
The egg salad sandwich was pricey at $7 but it was EXCELLENT! Fortunately for me, I was able to make 2 add'l sandwiches from the generous portion of egg salad on my original sandwich.
