Eight Mile Creek

The food wasn't so good- I had the mushrooms and they were really tough and had too much garlic. The service was slow- the menu options were limited. Everyone who tried the kangaroo meat didn't care for it and at roughly $25 a plate you got only a little bit of food. I ordered a side of mashed potatoes with my dinner and everyone else wished they had too. Small portions of so-so food.

I had to sample the kanga skewer appetizer and the seared kangaroo fillet. Very similar to venison...quite juicy and filling :) I liked the service...vey cordial!

Must try this place. Everything on the menu is delicious, very tasty and creative! Very friendly staff, and downstairs bar always guarantees a good time. Owner Will Ford has it all figured out!
