    So much potential, but...

I used to eat here often, but stopped going. Is it time to give it another try? The food is average to above average, and the place noisy, even when it's not clogged with drinking revelers. Nice servers who don't pay attention. I'd like it to be great, because it's nearby.

When in doubt, go to Edward's

Hey, we were just there last night -- again. I actually decided to stray from my usual spagettini with shrimp and try the pene with chicken. My husband, as always, had the rigatoni with sausage. This place can be on our way as we walk home from work, and there are times our feet automatically will us there after a long day. The food is ALWAYS fresh and hot and delicious -- never a miss on the sauces -- and you can't beat the service anywhere in this City. Don't even think about it, just go!

    Every-day perfection

Guaranteed great food, super friendly staff, totally unpretentious and comfortable atmosphere...the old reliable never lets us down...and kid friendly too. This is what Tribeca is all about.

    Great Dish, Great Service!

On 4/10/06, I dined at Edward's. I ordered the Spaghettini with Shrimp. It was wonderful! Very tasty and piping hot! Noodles were cooked just right; al dente! My dining partner joined me a bit late so when he saw my meal he was interested and ordered the same. He was very pleased as well. Service was prompt and when I discovered the next morning that I had left my Palm there, staff had already secured it in an office. It was a great experience all around.

    Great restaurant...not so great food

I've been to Edwards about 5 times, hoping that wouldn't be let down yet again. The atmosphere is great, drinks are well made, and service is kind, but the food is not so great. How could a hamburger taste so subpar? And the chicken fingers were not good. The ravioli with sausage was very good, but the calamari has little taste. I'd also recommend the penne with chicken. I keep going back because it's near my job, and the service is really great- always asking me if I'd like something else, etc. Maybe it's just me though, because the place is always packed, with regulars and europeans. Do you want to risk it?

    Great brunch, lively nightlife

Edward's is one of my absolute favorite places to eat and drink in the city. The food is top notch and affordable, the staff affable and approachable. The atomsphere is french bistro -- totally charming and authentic. Edward's is both classic and warm. Open for a killer brunch on the weekends. Also-- great, generous cocktails and lively, hip crowds at night.

    Friendliest service in NYC

We were just visiting ny for the week and edwards was one of the only placing in NYC that made us feel at home. The service is warm and the food is good.
