    Hurricane?

I loved Edward's! As a tourist, our first meal in NYC was at Edward's! What a great beginning to a wonderful trip. Excellent wait staff, excellent food, and a great value. If you are in the Tribeca area go to Edward's! As for the review during the hurricane..... DUH hurricane? what were you thinking even going out? Are you going to blame Edward's for the Hurricane too?

    Worst staff

Visited as was close to our hotel and it was during the hurricane. Was empty when we arrive and we sat for a couple of hours and had 2 bottles of champagne. It then started getting busier and we were about to order food when we were told we had to leave. Apparently we had stayed long enough! Never in my life have I come across this before. Will never visit here again. Dull atmosphere, cramped and having seem in the kitchen and behind the bar, probably wouldn't pass health checks....

    Marginal at best

Went for brunch...huevos rancheros was bland and way over priced at 12.50. Was full when I was done but didn't enjoy eating it. Def not worth a trip back

    Food ok, service poor

I went with a friend on a Sunday evening and it was not crowded. We ordered a burger and a steak sandwich. We waited over 25 minutes and the server never came over to acknowledge the wait. Finally I called her over and she stated "she knew we were waiting and it would be out soon". The food came out after 35 minutes - I think she or someone just forgot to cook the food. Te food was fine but not worth the poor service. I will not be back.

    Top place

Me and my husband had dinner at Edward's when during a three day visit to NYC. We found Edward's to have a lovely atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. We both had the steak and it was cooked to our liking, not over or under done and it was really well seasoned - delicious! We'd definately eat there again!

To bad the service is so bad

I tried this place with a group of friends for lunch since the tasty French place next door was full. They seated us quickly, but the service went downhill from there. Our waitress was snotty, slow and careless. She spent the entire time talking to the host and ignoring our table. We ordered the wrap of the day, which was way to cheesy, and the portabella sando which was way to overcooked. The fries were tasty but not worth the cost. Overall the vibe the staff gave us for actually sitting in their restaurant left us all with a bad taste in our mouth. I'd never go back.

    Great Food Poor Service

We went to Edwards this Sunday for brunch with some friends. One of the guys I was with ordered a ceasar salad with chicken. When it arrived the chicken was tiny burnt pieces (Basically the end parts of chicken) When he told the waitress it wasn't good, she simply goes "oh thats too bad." Instead of appologizing or acting like she cared, she was so rude and just walked away. Then later on when the busboy came to clear the table he accidently spilled maple syrup all over my boyfriend. When I told the waitress she simply goes "oh he may not have seen you." Not the answer you want to hear. She was so rude and never asked to bring napkins over or appologize. Accidents happen, but there is a correct way of handeling with customers. We will be back for the food and atmosophere but hopefully we never get this waitress again!
