Taste Like Virginia
One of the best soul food restaurants in NYC. They deliver to Lenox Terrace which is a little distance from their location but it's worth a generous tip, since the food is great. They should add chicken breast to their menu in addition to wings & legs. The sweet potato pie is so good, they often run out. The various cakes are excellent!

They Deliver!
The food is great but the service and the value are outstanding. They deliver all the way to 129th Street and they are always so nice and so prompt. Thank you Edmond's Cafe!

The Last Soulfood in Harlem
I have been a regular customer of Edmonds for about 6 months now. The food is great and remindes me of real down home cooking from the deep south, which is the only and the best soulfood there is. At any rate, supporting this small mom and pop shop is a no brainer. I have actually sat an eaten there just to get a sense of the ambiance and it is the usual cafeteria dining experience just fine. My favorites are the short ribs, turkey meatloaf, and cabbage. When the pastry chef is on point, the peach cobbler is the best in NYC. Just love the food...how much more can I say...

Worth the trip
The food is definitely southern and soul. It tastes like someones mom made it. A homey goodness. You get a lot for your money, but I wouldn't want to eat there. Only a few small booth seats, it is mainly a take out joint. And, worth the trip.
