Poor quality and Poor service!
I have lived in Sunset Park for 10 years and there are so many great Mexican restaurants - Eclipse is not one of them. They use American, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese in all of their dishes! (non of those are mexican). In the restaurant it takes over 45 minutes to be served and if you want delivery (I live acoss the street) it can take an hour! They use poor quality ingredients and the service is poor!

Very surprised
I'll KISS (keep it short and simple): - The place is very cozy and it feels like you're at somebody's house having lunch/dinner. It's also very clean. - The service is pretty good and quick. - The food is not the best Mexican food I have had, but it's not bad either. It depends on what you order. The salsa verde was very good, but the mole, which is my favorite sauce, was not as good. But overall, the food is of good quality, fresh, home-made style, and of good presentation. I totally recommend this restaurant!

Take out service and food was great!
I ordered lunch from work from Eclipse for the first time after reading the menu and reviews on Menupages.com. I have never physically been there, or even seen it in person, just images on there website and it looks like a nice place, so I ordered my lunch. EXCELLENT is all I can say. The perfect amount of food, quick delivery, excellent phone service when taking my order over the phone and got everything correct. I haven't had a burrito this good in such a long time, only thing I wish they had put lettuce and other condiments inside, but its ok cause I had to eat with a fork anyway. Highly Recommended!

Why is this place not crowded? I am glad, forme, that it is not. I can't think where else I can get such great quality food (fab brunch) at such good prices!

SO GREAT!
I agree with the rest of the reviewers - Eclipse is great! Their food is fresh and delicious - particularly the Mole Burrito - AMAAAAAZING! It takes all the discipline in the world not to order it 7 days a week. Also, the people at Eclipse are always very nice. They remember you when you call, and they're very friendly on the phone. Can't say enough good things. Love Eclipse!!

All-around great
I lovelovelove this place. The food is delicious - although there are a million Mexican places in Sunset Park, most of those places are heavy-handed with the deep frying and grease. Eclipse uses really fresh ingredients and it actually feels like you're eating that could be good for you! The inside of the restaurant is very cute, much different than most places around here. The back patio is also really nice. The small staff is always friendly. Best of all is the price! I spend more than $25 on dinner for two.
