    always good

I have eaten here 3 times in the last year.....the food and service have been consistently very good. Just a nice place for old school red sauce Italian food done very well.

    Delicioso

Girls night out was fantastic with a great meal and excellent service. The food was authentic italian and the service to 3 single girls was very nice. We found this place from a recommendation from a florist and was the best choice by far.

    Excellent

I have been to Ecco many times and love it. Try the prawns...there are none better anywhere. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. A somewhat hidden treasure!!

    great italian food

8 of us dined here on a Saturday evening. It was a first for all of us. The food was great. The chicken scarpariello was delicious! The service was great and the entire staff was very helpful and polite. Look forward to dining here again.

    Great Italiano

We went here for Valentine's Day and had a good experience. The food and atmosphere were both excellent, decor was nice, service was attentive and professional. They were not pushing us out the door either, even though it was v-day. The lobster bisque app. special was great, huge chunks of lobster. The prawn special was amazing, the sauce was buttery and delectable and they were some of the biggest prawns I've ever seen. My date had chicken fiorentino which was excellent. They definitely do Italian right. Desserts were great as well, esp. creme brulee. Highly recommend, and would def. be back on a non-holiday. Only one complaint - We had an 8:30 reservation, showed up on time, and still waited for more than a half hour, they definitely overbooked.

    Very Well Done

Had Christmas Eve dinner at Ecco. Service and Decor was excellent. Had a variety of dishes - Marsala (excellent), Scampi (wonderful), Adriatica (fantastic), Fish special (so-so) plus two deserts - cheesecake and creme brulee (both fantastic) and the antipasti hot (super). Would go back for another special event. Think it's too expensive for normal dining, but we surely had a great time.

    Consistant Favorite

We've dined here dozens of times....eventhough there is an infinate number of NYC restaurants, we always seem to like Ecco the best.
