    Boy, I hated it.

I ordered from here based on the strong reviews. I am an Eggs Benedict aficionado. What they delivered to me should NOT, by any STRETCH of the imagination be designated "Eggs Benedict". Served on a vegetable potato cake? It sounded potentially tasty on the menu. The reality was a shredded vegetable mass, which tasted like GREENS, and not at all like potato. Not even crispy. It tasted HEALTHY, in an unenjoyable way. And it did not absorb the hollandaise sauce, which is one of the aspects - - the absorption of the hollandaise sauce by the english muffin in traditional Eggs Benedict -- that makes Eggs Benedict so wonderful. To me, the chef clearly did NOT understand the glory of Eggs Benedict. Makes me lose respect for the chef. I won't order from this place again.

    Good for brunch

I had the veggie patty eggs benedict and it's the best hollandaise sauce I've ever had (I'm picky) also the bangers and dijon mash with pouched eggs were very tasty. However, the pieces of coffee cake they give as soon as you sit down looked like someones leftovers. Weird! Overall a good place to go.

    A new favorite

I'm not a NYC local, but when visiting friends, I fancy trying new spots that are within walking distance from their apartments. While staying in midtown west, I ventured out to Eatery which caught my attention with the large "e" logo outside. On a Saturday at 2ish, this corner hotspot was packed for brunch with hip twenty somethings, with the occiasional family and a few carry outers like myself. The salmon club with fresh greens and tomato was delicious...and the banana chips were a welcome change from just a side of fries. I'll definitely be back to sample more of the extensive menu and especially have a glass of the house sangria! The Eatery made a great first impression, no doubt partially due to a friendly staff.

    Realy good food. Hectic place.

The food is fresh healthy creative and delicious. It's always too crowded and too much of a scene for me to totallly enjoy how tasty the food is. But nevertherless it IS really tasty.

    Good place for lunch

Reasonable prices and great mac and cheese! Also, try the Asian chicken salad.
