Not recommmended
I had the tuna steak and it had no taste. My friends had salads that were clearly subpar--how do you mess up a salad? We got the brownie dessert and it disappointed as well ... would not go back.

Uneven
I've lived in hell's kitchen for years, and was excited when eatery became one of the first 'trendy' spots in the 'hood. w/ cool atmo, outdoor seating, good drinks and slick servers, the place is enticing. however, i've eaten at the spot countless times, (due to its proximity to my apartment), and i can't keep silent anymore! the food is totally inconsistant! the caesar is dry, and the burgers as well. but then the more exotic dishes, the wok flashed tequila shrimp and the chipotle spiked meatloaf are tasty and unique. what's the deal? i so want eatery to be a 'go to' place. but i can't recommend in good conscience.

Hmmm....
Went here on a Wednesday evening at 6, and the place was packed. We were seated immediately, though. The service was quite good -- friendly and unobtrusive. We ordered mojitos, which were pretty good -- don't taste the alcohol too much... might be why we ordered two each. Oh, I know why we ordred two each! Because the mussels were not good. We split them and didn't even finish the plate. Chewy, the curry broth was subpar, and they tasted a bit briny. We ordered fries instead, which came out promptly, hot and crisp. Yum. I wouldn't go back there, though. Too noisy and overrated, which I've heard from many.

Best in Hell's Kitchen
We all know that there are like a million restaurants in Hells Kitchen these days. Out of all of them I seem to keep coming back to Eatery. I love this local restaurant. I have lived in Hell's Kitchen for years now, and i have come to count on the reliability of quality from this quaint and friendly restaurant. The service is always great and the food consistantly top notch. I frequent this establishment on a regular basis, because everytime I go I feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed. I never seem to go wrong with what i order. The service is fast and friendly and the food very affordable.

I love this Hell's Kitchen Hot Spot!
I've just got to say that I LOVE this Hell's Kitchen Hot Spot! From the Asian Chicken Salad to the E-which. The atmosphere is always full of life, upbeat and energetic. The music is always fresh and new!! The very friendly and helpful wait staff are always there the fill my every need. And you've got to try their brunch on weekends. Wow, the stuffed french toast is a must. Just go and check it out ... trust me!!

Eating at Eatery
I was at eatery the other day for lunch and had the pasta of the day with smoked mozzarella and roasted red pepper pesto and a couple of veggies that were out of this world. The flavor captivated all of my senses and mellowed me out before I returned to work. I have never had such an amazing dish. The service was ottimo. Very friendly and well attentive waitstaff. And the petite syrah.... divine. I will definately return more often for lunch for the daily specials and wonderful service. Next time I will have to try the Banana Cheesecake..it looked lustfully appealing.
