Decent food, better delivery
This is my standby place when I can't think of anyplace else to order from. I have only been in the restaurant maybe three times, and the service was always very forgettable, as was the atmosphere. Stick with really really fast delivery in my opinion. My staples from here are the ceasar salad, which is only decent, and the Mac and Jack, and Eatery Burger, both of which I really enjoy.

The meatloaf, ohhhhh the meatloaf...
Ya gota get the Chipotle Stuffed Meat load and mashed taters. I think $17.00 is rediculous for meatloaf, but I never regret it.

Pleasant Suprise
New York has a million restaurants but we never know where to go. This is a place I will definetly go back to. We went earlier on a Saturday evening, the noise level that a previous reviewer was not noticed. The atmosphere was really nice, the waiter was helpful and knowledgable. I want to go back and try other delicious meals. The desserts were pretty awesome too. We had the "e-witch" .

Pass the salt, pepper, & megaphone
When no one can make a decision on where to go for brunch we always end up at The Eatery, although not sure why! Their Hollandaise sauce needs a bit more flavor, in fact most of their dishes need a bit more flavor. The staff is a bit short, eh, clearly struggling actors. You need a megaphone to speak to the person next to you or across the table. Although, I must say, the little piece of pound cake for brunch and Shrimp crackers for dinner that they give you when waiting at the table is a nice touch. It's a good place to order take out or delivery, but I'm not a fan of the atmosphere. Oh yeah, and the bathroom smells like the lavatory on planes.

Above Average for NYC
They have a fresh selection of foods. The staff has clearly not sampled a majority of the menu. Which is a problem since a lot of things on the menu aren't what they really seem to be. It is still very good, but not described as it should be.

Awesome Brunch!
I came here with a few friends to catch up. I was told by someone that the food was only OK but it was more a place to say you've eaten at. I disagree. The food was divine! The best mac-and-cheese in Manhattan. It's garlicky with onion shoestrings on top. The fritata of the day had poblanos and brie with chicken...very tasty. Burger came with sweet potato fries. Waiter was attentive and kept my water full at times. The atmosphere was a little loud but fun all around. I'll definitely come back here...in fact, I told my friends that we should just eat there every day, three times a day.

Good Grub
Always friendly service. Loud, but not in a bad way. Tables are really close together, which sucks if that bothers you. Great brunch - so many selections (except not enough salmon in the salmon club and the plaintains are mediocre!). Great dinner - love the Asian chicken salad, the calimari, and the chicken ravioli is pretty fabulous, too. Would venture out of my neighborhood for this place!
