Tonight I dined at this small casual local eatery and neither I nor my friend will ever return and I urge anyone craving Thai food to dine elsewhere because there are other average cheap Thai restaurants nearby where patrons are treated with the respect NY diners deserve, are accustomed to receiving. Tonight I had the unfortunate experience of being served hot fried calamari that was not cut into rings properly SO when I bit into a tube shaped piece boiling hot oil burst out of the fish seriously burning my tongue, lip and chin. I left the restaurant with a numb tongue and a newly formed blister on my lip. The appalling thing is not that this injury happened, but that neither the staff nor the management did anything at all to make sure that I was ok. They never asked if I was ok. They never asked if I wanted or needed anything. I lost my appetite completely. I asked to speak to the manager and he never came to our table. When the bill arrived no adjustments were made, we paid and they forgot to bring us our change. I was thoroughly shocked by their horrible service that I insisted to speak to the manager and he managed to make the situation worse- rather than apologizing and/or adjusting our bill he blamed me for not eating the fried fish carefully enough. Had a set lunch selection a couple of days ago at this restaurant. Ordered the pad thai main course and after a couple of mouth-fulls of what was served to me, I found the preparation truly disappointing. The pad thai was greasy and mushy, totally unlike how pad thai should be prepared. I told the waitress I could not eat this food and told her to take it away, whereupon I paid the tab (no tip) and left.

Delivery took over an hour. The woman who answers the phone to take delivery orders is very rude. When I asked where my delivery was she told me if I wanted it quicker I should have picked it up myself. She also told me they weren't busy & couldn't get a hold of delivery guy. Obviously when the food did arrive - it was cold. No apology or explanation from restaurant. They don't care about their customers at all. That will be my last delivery order from them & I hope you don't order from these rude people either. This restaurant needs to learn how to treat their customers. Without customers this place will close. Let's hope it does.

I ordered here twice in one week. The people on the phone taking my orders and the delivery people were friendly. The portions were just right, and the food tasted great. For the price, this place is excellent. I really recommend it!

This restaurant once served a tasty Basil Vegetable Duck, and though it was a bit pricier than the other dishes, there was also more of it. Portions are now minuscule. Special requests are ignored. I asked for less oil and got a dish drowning in it. What I didn't get was basil. And the vegetables were unpleasant. This restaurant is a goner.

My main complaint- especially right this moment is that Eat Thai doesn't open until 11:30 :( Also, their food is sometimes great and sometimes so-so. But I order from them consistently and would order more often if they were open now

Veggie dumplings and pad Thai are great
