    It was decent

I go to Hunter College so it is one of the few diners nearby that had a good menu. The food over all is okay. I been there a couple of times and so far the waitresses were nice to me. I often see alot of families grabbing brunch which is the type of atmosphere i enjoy. So over all, a cute little place. I would bring my boyfriend or friend there to munch on brunch.

    lunch lunch lunch

I go to this diner at least once a week, like the food, they have great burgers and chicken souvalkai. The staff is funny and friendly, for a diner. The owner is always around at lunch time and makes sure everything is running well.

    Crowded But Worth it.

I had lunch with a friend of mine at this spot yesterday. We reached there at:1:00 PM. It was crowded, had to wait 10 minutes to have a table. Food was excellent! Waitress was friendly and always around. Their prices are very affordable for this part of Manhattan. Simply: good food, cheap prices and clean place!

    Don't

There is much better around town, and in the area, on all counts. It may be one of the few diners in this very pricey neighborhood, but avoid it.

    So So....

This was an ok place, not the best. The food was good, but the poor waitress had to wait on ALL the tables. Granted this place is not big but she had 7 tables while some other man that worked there sat at their little diner bar and read the Post. Also the coffee was lukewarm. which i s a HUGE PEEVE of mine.

    Gone downhill

I used to live across the street from this place, almost 30 years ago. Back then it was a fun place to grab a bite. I don't know if the owners are the same, but I went in last night (I was in the neighborhood) and was underwhelmed, to put it mildly. I had a bowl of very good vegetable soup, followed by the one of the worst BLTs I've ever had in my life. The lettuce was leafy and soggy (a BLT needs crunchy iceberg lettuce), the bacon was flavorless, and the tomatoes were the little ends of a tomato that you usually throw out, you know, with the little stem part cut out. The service was not good. I ordered a soda that never came, and my empty soup bowl sat on my table until I got up and moved it to the next table myself. There were maybe 3 or 4 other tables there, with one waitress serving us all, while the waiter who first took my order sat at the counter and read the paper. This was at dinner time, not 2 am. Save your money! : (

    Not Impressed

I stop there occasionally to grab a bite for lunch. It takes me 2 minutes to order and then another 20+ until the food actually arrives. Very slow service. The wait staff is friendly however.
