Disappointing out of date bakery quality
I was looking for a full service bakery because these days, everyone is only making cupcakes. When I looked up this bakery, I saw that they made cakes, pies, brownies and cookies...everything that I was looking for. The problem is that the quality reminded me of the old fashioned, very industrial style of baked goods. Everything looked fine but it lacked in taste. In today's better bakeries, the items take on a homemade quality that showcases quality ingredients such as real butter, cream, hand made pie fillings etc. That did not happen here. The goods had a commercially prepared taste. The pie filling tasted like something out of a can. The walnut brownie was dry and had no walnuts in the brownie, only 3 pieces of walnut laid on top of the brownie. This was a disappointing experience and I would not return.
