We love these guys!
For two years we have loved this place. As a team of international journalists, we look forward to coming back to New York for our East Village Thai fix. Try the fish (best if you dine in). Thank you to the East Village Thai crew. The food here is beyond compare in the neighborhood.

The best thai in the city
I lived in Seattle for 7 years and became very spoiled with good Thai food. I couldn't find a good one until EV Thai. The food is cheap, the delivery is fast and always prompt, and the people who run the place are sweet. Best Thai around.

really really really good!
this place is an east village gem - it's just a little hole in the wall but the people that work there are really nice and it's delicious and authentic. yum.

Quality Thai, Lilliputian Delivery Range
I'd go easy on the "best Thai outside Thailand" on this one, unless you've been stuck in the city for a while. Given that the ratio of Good Thai to Available Thai in NYC is so small, I'd say this is some of the best Thai food in New York, certainly for the price, but it's pretty much "very competent" in the larger Thai Food Diaspora. I'll give it a 4.5 on the NYC Thai scale, which gets these very very nice people a chance to return next week to compete against San Jose, California's Thai food. My only real complaint is that they won't deliver eight blocks away to Orchard Street, but their willingness to discuss the matter has been very impressive -- if I lived within five blocks of this place, I'd order twice a day and thrice on weekends just for the opportunity to talk to the short man at the counter. Skip the tables, unless you like a little jostle with your chu-chee duck.

Best thai food in NYC
This small family run establishment serves yummy genuine thai food at cheap and reasonable prices. The delivery service is fast and efficient. If you decide to eat in at one of the 4 tables the fish is highly recommended. Best thai outside Thailand!
