Ridic pad thai!
Ordered at 9:55pm on a weeknight and arrived at my door in less than 10 mins! They give you a ton of food for the money. If you're not in the mood for a sit down dinner at Klong or Sea Thai (or any of the other gazillion thai restaurants in the east village), then order take-out from here.

One of best Thai places on LES
Small hole in the wall spot with outstanding food. Like the last review stated the actual location is not all that. However, the food is. I use it as my take-out spot several times a week, blazing delivary time. What must be said is that this place has the best Tom Yum Gum soup out of all places I know. This is why I fell in love with Thai food and there is no other place that comes even close. Most places now add tomato to the soup making ruining the taste in my opinion, this place does not. Bottom line: great food for good price, best ordered out.

Great for take-out, but not a sit-down
I went to East Village Thai after reading the review on MenuPages, and was disappointed to find minimal seating and bad lighting. This is a take-out place, make no mistake. It deserves its high marks for food, service, and value, but it's no three-star atmosphere.

Good Thai (for Manhattan)
Pretty good by Manhattan standards, I'm having the beef Pad Kee Mao right now, which is nice and spicy. The prices are on the high side too for take out Thai, on the other hand, the food is well above average (for Manhattan Thai).

Most authentic Thai food
I spent a month in Thailand, and nothing I've tasted in New York is as authentic "Thai" as East Village. Not all orders are winners, but you cannot go wrong with any of curries, especially the green. It's my favorite take-out.

Best Thai Ever!
I have traveled extensively around the United States and have tried Thai restaurants in every major city and East Village Thai blows them all away. It is absolutely delicious! Every dish I've tried (and it's been almost all) have been spectacular. The Pad Kra Prow is unbelievable as is the Green Curry. If you like Thai and you're not afraid of real, authentic flavors then this is your place.

Awesome Thai Food
I was so happy to discover this place. It's been very difficult for me to find a good Thai restaurant in this city. (It was very easy on the west coast where I used to live.) I usually order delivery and do not know what this restaurant looks like. But the speed of delivery is amazing. And the food tastes like a real Thai food! Please try because I know what I am talking about.
