Friendly, delicious food
Everytime I order from this place for lunch, I can count on friendly service, tasty authentic food, and prompt delivery. The 2 only downsides to this place is that they don't take credit cards, and not much seating area. My go to dishes are the yellow curry, pad thai, and green papaya salad. Kah-Pun-Kha East Village Thai for always taking care of my belly!

truly authentic thai food
just to let everybody know that I'm Thai and I always try different thai restaurants to get the same flavors I would get in Thailand. just about everything they have is truly authentic. places like Sea thai and Spice aren't authentic at all. I highly recommend the Rad Na..my favorite dish. only downside of this restaurant is that its mostly take out. its really hard to find a good thai restaurant in manhattan and this place is one of a kind.

Best In NYC
The only place I've ever had better Thai is The Churchill in London. I've never eaten in the restaraunt, and I actually ordered delivery from here for 5 years before I ever even set foot inside, but this is by far the best, and most authentic Thai food in NYC and possibly any major city outside thailand. If you want the faux, Ikea decorated Thai louge/restaraunts like Republic or SEA to order Pad Thai and summer rolls this is not your place. If you want outstanding curries, tum yum soup, and the best pad kee mao you've ever had...stay in, pick up the phone, order delivery and savor every last bite.

Russian roulette
I've ordered from this place a few times and it was pretty good but the last time I ordered was not Do not order the chicken chu chee (subpar quality chicken and sickening thick gooey sauce) or the masaman curry (unpleasant masaman sauce here and low quality meat). It was about $25 for those two dishes combined and it was the worst thai meal I think Ive ever had. I am dropping this place from my rotation, there are plenty of more reliable options in the neighborhood.

My favorite food on the planet
No kidding. This is seriously the tastiest food I have ever had. The curries and the pad thai - all spectacular. The soups are outrageous and sooo tasty. By no means a place to go on a first date, but certainly a place to consider as an old stand by whenever you're in the mood for a delicious Thai feast.

Def. The Best Thai food I've ever had
I've eaten alot of thai food. from NYC to LA and everywhere in between. This is by far the best thai food I have ever had!! I used to live in NYC and made this restaurant a staple. I now live in Atlanta and tell everyone I going to NYC to make a stop @ E.Village Thai. I love the fact that there are only about three tables in the place and further more they are plastic. I love it. I also love the older thai gent that runs the kitchen shouting orders as hes cooking! What a great spot. I miss it so and will be there in Aug. I wonder if I should make reservations : )

Best thai delivery ever!
This place has the most amazing thai food... there are a lot of thai restaurants in the area, but by far - EVT is the only place that makes the food THAI HOT on request. I usually order the curries, but I have been recently hooked on the beef salad... grilled beef, fresh veggies, and cool spicy dressing... YUM!
