Good News: Beer Selection is awesome, food is likewise quite good for pub fare, it's in a stellar location and has wonderful bluegrass/hip hop country music some nights. HOWEVER, the bartender or waitress or whatever she is must be very cozy with the owner or some such to keep her job. This is NOT AN OFF NIGHT, i live in the area and peek in even when walking the dog. Thus I know I'm not the only one who has the following issues. She CANNOT pour a beer, she knows NOTHING about the area or NYC, she 'didn't know how" to change the station on the TV and then refused to put more than one (of many) tv's to the "big game" keeping 3 TVs to sports noone was watching creating a bottleneck around one TV on a busy monday night...... what an idiot. I saw at least a dozen people exit that night alone due to her ineptitude.

I absolutley loved their bloody mary at brunch last Sunday. Spicy, delicious and perfect. Great friendly staff.

Stumbled on this place whilst staying the weekend on Avenue C (tourist from the UK). A great "pub", great atmosphere, great staff and great beers. I left myself in their hands to try me out on their range of beers and they did not disappoint. A friendly place and special praise to Marty for his welcome.

I went in with a few friends on a Tuesday night to have a couple of beers. I just moved into the neighborhood and wanted to check the place out. The beer selection is great... the food delicious, but the bartender was rude. It took forever to get her attention even though there were only a handful of people in the place. When we finally got her attention she seemed more interested in fixing her hair than pouring our beers. On a side note, someone should teach her how to pour a beer because it took her at least 5 minutes and by the time we got it, there was more foam than actual beer in the glass. All in all, we would have returned, but she completely turned us off. Maybe if we tried it on a different night other than Tuesday and someone else was working, it would be worth it. But in my opinion, she has got to go.

great spot for live jazz on sundays!!! definitely worth the hike to avenue c! mac & cheese is out of this world! and great beers on tap! looking forward to warmer weather so they can open the front windows, great way to spend a sunday!

Stopped in for brunch on Sun, after seeing the crowds at Sunbrunt Cow. Food here was awesome, I had the grilled cheese (minus the ham) - great sandwich w/ cheddar and apples and onions and dijon... so good! Try the drink called "the dude" you wont be sorry! Bloody mary's are great too... And tons of beers are on tap.

This place is somewhat new and you can tell when your there. It needs to age a little like fine wine. They only serve beer on draft that is brewed in craft breweries in the USA, I think that is cool. So cool that I had to try them all. . The food was so much better than same old fried stuff. I think you should check it out for yourself . This place is going to only get better !
