The best chopped liver.....and more
This place is great - good food, accommodating people, good quality. For those who remember David's on Third, the owner(s) of this are alumni of David's, so they know great chicken. I particularly love their skinless fried and chopped liver, but I've never had anything I didn't like from there. I'm glad they've moved to 2nd - a bit closer to me...

The chicken is great but there is much more...
They have the best fried chicken with or without skin. The roasted chicken is moist, juicy and has great flavor. I love the poached salmon too. I even order the grilled shrimp and all their steak products have amazing flavor and are sooo tender, especially soft is the filet mignon. My daughter loves the calimari, wings and brisket. But my whole family enjoys the sides, roasted potatos, creamed spinach, mashed potatos, kasha, the sauteed eggplant is amazing and so is the chopped liver, but I could go on and on. The duck is so crispy and not fatty. I order food from here at least 3 times a week and my family never tires of it, because it is much more than chicken. and now the have a small grocery so i dont need to shop anywhere else. Excellent food and Excellent service. Oh the quiche and the different home made sauces for pasta and the pasta is on the shelf.

its not just chicken
past by and saw roast chickens in the window,after i went in and saw the varity i was overwelmed. the chicken was delicous sides great also. try the barly. i got filet mignon for my wife reluctantly because its a chicken place but its better the the palm. cant wait to try some other entrees.

Over rated
I ordered from there couple of times and I didn't like it...Side dishes had no taste and the chicken was like any other places.I always eat outside and this place is definetely overrated...

Great Chicken and Great Sides
We order out from here at least once a week and always have them cater our events. The chicken is always fresh and the sides are great. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good chicken. Love this place!!

Totally agree with you
A friend of mine recommended the place about one year ago and I decided to give it a shot. Ever since I've been ordering from them at least twice a week. So far delivery has been consistently fast, no mistake. The food is always fresh, hot and no need to say delicious. I strongly recommend it. A+++!

Fabulous
I can't believe that it took me this long to find this place. And what a find it is. The UES has been missing a place like this since the closing of David's Chickens on Third Avenue. Delivery was perfect and fast, Only the whole roast chicken was overpriced. And as the prior reviewer said, the chopped liver is beyond good - to die for! Luckily I ordered only half a pound. I finished it all and would have finished an entire pound too. Yum.
