Service and Food

good food poor service
Went out with a group of 6. First off I still love this palce but today's trip was so so. They were more busy the usual. Second service was really poor this time, there were several mistakes with the order and the server seemed a little absent minded and not really attentive to the table. Have hopes for better on the next trip.

Inconsistent
Ordered take out and asked for "no shrimp" as my daughter was allergic to it, but the rice came with loads of shrimp. Ordered veg. dish and asked for more yellow squash and there was not one piece of squash. Will not recommend at all. Food, service bad!

Ok Pineapple Fried Rice
Had a craving for Pineapple Fried Rice, decided to check this place out. It was just ok. I didn't care for the type of pineapple used, very small pieces, not sure if it was canned/prepackaged. No cashews, and I prefer cashews. The plus, it wasn't too oily. Delivery person didn't seem to speak English, but that was ok. He just wasn't personable at all. This was delivery so I really can't speak to Atmosphere and rated it in the middle at 2.5 as it was required.

Very Good
We are just home from a 2-week stay in NYC and had two meals at East Pacific Pan while there. We enjoyed both of them. The walnut-chicken-shrimp is excellent, as was their fillet-mignon. The service is prompt, appropriate, and attentive. There are language issues with some of the wait staff.

like this place
i have been in this place about 7 times since it opened and also orders delivery on weekends. Im also in the restaurant business and they do it right here i have recommended it to my friends and will continue to do so.

Great Lunch for a Very Fair Price
I went to lunch with a friend and was very pleasantly surprised. We ordered a 5 piece sushi appetizer that came with a California roll, soup, salad, mango chicken with a side of brown rice (which was phenomenal and highly recommended) and chicken pad thai. Total bill $24. Out of this world deal for Murray Hill sit down lunch. The appetizer came out after the meal but that didn't bother us. Extremely efficient service and a full crowd on a Friday afternoon. I will definitely be going back.
