Simply Good
Good price, good food, and genial service. Wish I lived closer - it's the kind of place you'd go back to again & again.

This place is disappointing!
My wife and daughter and I went to this place based on a Menu Pages review on the weekend before Veteran's Day. It was disappointing. We would ask for drinks and food and the waiter would say yes and then never bring what we wanted. My wife and friends from Arizona went to this place last summer and it was subpar then. Why did I go back? We forgot how it was the first time!

Saying thanks after 11 years of joy....
I've been coming to this place since they opened 11 years ago. I would like to say thank you to all those over the years who have made almost every visit here a pleasant experience. The food has always been satisfying, and I've spent just as many moments at their lovely and lively bar/lounge downstairs. Their greatest asset however, is the staff (from the kitchen to the FOH). These folks are always eager to please and they an atmosphere that is very conducive to socializing. It's one of the few places where "everybody knows your name" still rings true. I hope this place lasts forever.

My favorite place in Chelsea
I eat at East of Eighth at least once every few months and it's consistently excellent. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is really nice. They change the menu for the seasons, which means there's almost always something new to try. It's my favorite local place to go when I want to relax, have good food and enjoy a conversation with friends. I highly recommend it.

Very enjoyable
Went for lunch, thought the food was delicious, portions were fine and the service was excellent. Ate in the garden space which is lovely. Would recommend.

Not Worth It
Went to this restuarant twice, and each time was not impressed. the portions are very small and the price does not reflect that. I waited 45 minutes for a salad... the waiter promised us our food would be out in "2 min" after 45 minutes, but it took even longer than that. And we only had one cooked dish at our table- the rest were salads! Manager was very rude, waiter was uneven, and food was mediocre at best- and the prices were not cheap.
