Fabulous!
A most enjoyable experience. Finally a restaurant on the UES that I can call my favorite! Between the decor, the food and the service, I must say it was outstanding! When you walk in, the decor is just amazing with the wainscot decor and the crown molding. The owner really put alot into making this restaurant amazing. If you like Ze Cafe in Sutton Place, you"ll love this hidden gem!

One of the most pleasant dining experiences
Had dinner last last Saturday with a group of friends. The staff made us feel very welcoming and came over a number of times to tell us our table will be ready shortly. There was not one in our group who was less than "Very happy" with the portions and the taste. The desserts.....what can i say....maybe should have ordered desserts first

Poor service...
This place is ADORABLE and the food is pretty good, but the service is atrocious. They screwed up our order, ran out of coffee cups, never brought things that we asked for (drinks and salt) and generally seemed completely disorganized. This place could be great if they could get it together!

such a waste of space
I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place so I've made a conscious effort to try it several times. It was never great but it seems to be getting worse and worse and worse.... the coffee drinks are good (if you ever get them) the menu has good choices but the food is consistently disappointing. I've officially tried it for the last time. What a waste...

I have been a semi regular customer. I have no idea what happened to this perfect gem. Some of our food was over cooked, while others it was under cooked. I am surprised at the meal my friends and I were served. Sorry but I will not be going back.

poor experience
I had dinner there on 9/6/12. The food was cold and rather tasteless. the salad was left with very large pieces of greens. The waitress was totally inappropriate, busy playing with a patron's child. Will never go there again.

Neighborhood gem - thank you EE Kitchen!
East End Kitchen is luckily for me right in my neighborhood. It is so good though that I would recommend anyone traveling if they want high end, New American food (the fish is particularly good) at reasonable prices in a restful setting. They also have a kids menu that offers delicious chicken fingers and mac n cheese (among other items) which is a major bonus. We are now regulars, going almost weekly for one reason or another, each time trying a different dish and every time being absolutely pleased with the food quality/value ratio. It is such a pleasure to have a non-Italian, non-Asian elegant restaurant on the UES. Thank you East End Kitchen for doing what you do - we are so grateful!!
