In the breed of restaurant that is the take-out Chinese food counter, you'll be hard pressed to find better. That they also do a middling version of Mexican food is a bonus. I've been ordering from them for over 10 years and have always found them dependable. They are always friendly and deliver very quickly. Great dumplings, eggrolls, and above average to quite good versions of the all the standards (Wonton Soup, Hot n Sour Soup, General Tso's, Sesame Chicken, various meats With broccoli or string beans). Their Moo Shoo is also quite good. Perhaps my only real complaint is that their Sweet 'n Sour sauce isn't great. As for the Mexican menu - it's dependable but don't set your standards too high. On the plus side, their burritos are enormous and present a really good value for money. Vegetables are fresh. Bottom line: they're my go-to Chinese delivery. You won't want to try impressing a date with this place, but it's a solid guilty pleasure.

First the good. The service was quick and efficient. The eggroll arrived piping hot. The delivery man had change. Now the less-than-mediocre. Along with the eggroll, we ordered shrimp with string beans and general tso's tofu. Both dishes were lacking in flavor. The tofu was fried within an inch of its life and smothered with basic sweet and sour sauce. The shrimp was slightly more flavorful but still benefitted from soy sauce. Not that they gave us any--the soy sauce packets did not actually contain any soy! The eggroll was of the run-of-the-mill frozen variety. In short, we would only recommend this place if you want something fast, hot and cheap to fill your piehole.

i'm generally not very picky when it comes to chinese take out, and let a lot slide... but when your meal comes and the container is almost entirely filled with rice with just a few little pieces of meat and some chunks of vegetables there is a problem. One should not have to hunt for the chicken in a dish title "chicken in garlic sauce", you would think chicken would be the main ingredient. What i received was more along the lines of rice seasoned with a dash of chicken and a serving of broccoli. Aside from the lack of actual chicken in my chicken dish, the flavor was absolutely bland and the pork fried rice was dried out. This was my first, and will be my last time ordering from eagle city.

The Chinese food and is good (there are better tasting on myrtle). They do special request. Very friendly. Their Mexican food went from bad to worse. They should stop (lucky there's a few authentic Mexican spots within walking distance)

We first ordered Chinese food from this take-out joint, and it was really nice and fresh, veggies cooked just enough, flavorful sauces, the best Chinese delivery we've had in the neighborhood. Then we ordered Mexican. It wasn't so much bad as just not really Mexican. The 'enchiladas' were made up of chicken in a sort of small flour tortilla bowl, with some 'ranchero' sauce on the sidebasically crushed tomatoes. We also ordered a vegetarian dish off the Mexican menu, something like veggies and rice, and it was basically the same veggies you'd get if you ordered Chinese, but with no sauce. But this is a good place. Maybe the nachos are what you'd expect., or the burrito, but I think they need to learn more about Mexican seasoning. The delivery is fast and the delivery guy's very nice. Get the Chinese!
