Dylan Prime

This is not your typical stuffy steakhouse filled with business men! It's a beautiful restaurant and atmosphere with all the regular steakhouse favorites plus more. They have these awesome flavored martinis that taste like pies and cakes. I love the apple pie martini - they are so good you will get tipsy sooner than you planned. Also, I love the sidedishes that you can order - like macaroni and cheese, etc. The service is impeccable. In short, it's a steakhouse that's also sexy - great for an special date or entertaining. My only complaint it that it's hard to get a reservation!

We had a great experience tonight for dinner at Dylan Prime. Our service was absolutely excellent. When our waiter got busy with another table, someone else was there quickly to take our dessert order and a manager came by to clear a dish. The staff works together wonderfully - you never wait to get what you need. The food was perfect - steaks cooked to perfection - the chocolate molten cake was delicious and my after dinner chocolate martini, even better. The prices are up there but it's well worth it, considering the quality of the food and service. We will most definitely return.

Yes, I know that I wrote that I would not be back. Well, I went back 8 days later. Much different experience. The place was PACKED. My steak was cooked to request( I warned the waiter, who warned the chef). Crab cakes were delicious,but of course the wine list was lacking. This place is a "fair" value. Not a bad place, if you're not looking for wine.

Nice looking place, had my hopes up for a great wine list being that they have a couple of walls of wine bottles. The appetizers were well above average, the steaks were not cooked to our requests. By and far, my biggest complaint is their very short wine list. I ordered a 99 Brunello, delicious, of course it was their last bottle. I spent 1/2 hour trying to find something good. Nada, and of course the sommelier had the night off. The wait staff was not overly attentive. I will not be back.

My husband and I went here for my birthday this year. What a great place. Atmosphere was dim and relaxed. Service was great. Food was very very good. Both of our steaks were not cooked to our liking and they quickly rectified to give us great steaks and incredible sides. Dessert was awesome. They even put a candle in my dessert for my birthday. We both loved this place and would recommend it to anyone celebrating a special occasion or just wanting a great night out. We would definitely make the trip from CT to come back to Dylan Prime!

I've dined at Dylan's at least half a dozen times and my experience there has run the gamut, but the food has never been less than excellent. What prompted me to write this review was an absolutely superb dinner I had there with several friends on New Year's Day. The place was almost empty and were treated to attentive service and perfect food, but I have to agree with other reviewers...when it's crowded it becomes unbearably noisy and the staff tends to become blind and snappish. Still it's a beautiful room. My suggestion is go early or late when it's not so busy. Definitely worth a trip.

Best steaks around, and a cool place to eat, but the service is lacking (especially at lunch). However, it's worth it.
