Fantastic Delivery Experience
My boyfriend and I got home late tonight and ordered from Duzan on Seamless. We picked the beef shawarma platter and the hummus with mushrooms and onion. A few minutes after we ordered, we got a call from Duzan apologizing that they were out of shawarma, totally understandable because it was after 11. They said they would put together a platter for us, and we agreed, fingers crossed. The food that came exceeded our expectations. The hummus was excellent as always, and instead of shawarma we got a chicken kabob and kafta. I might like these even better than their shawarma, tender, marinated in lemon and cumin and perfectly spicy. They even threw in two pieces of baklava on the house! Duzan is one of my favorite restaurants in Astoria and some of the best Middle Eastern food in NYC.
