Big on size, small on taste
Had a cheeseburger with a side of onion rings and a caramel salted shake. The caramel salted shake was delicious, but that's about the only thing that tasted good. The burger was a good size and looked deceptively good, but with my first bite I tasted a wet-raggy-like beef. The onions came raw when I paid extra to have it as stated in the menu, 'carmelized onion'. The onion in the onion rings tasted flavorless. The service was okay but I could tell the waiter felt disgruntled which I can kind've understand as there is a back entrance from this restaurant to Franklin Place bar and I'd imagine he was made disgruntled by drunken fools seeking a burger rudely.

Gone downhill!
I use to love this place when it first opened. My family and I had several burgers and brunches there. Went there recently only to find a puny, overcooked, expensive burger on my bun. The service was never really good but now it's gone downhill. I would pass.....

Dutch burger?
I stumbled on this spot while on lunch..decided to try the BLT and a order of fries..$13. Not worth it..the whole grain baguette doesn't do anything for the sandwich..too hard and filling. The herbed mayo was ok ..good quality white bread is all that's needed for a good BLT. The fries wasn't nothing special..the take out boxes are cool though. I guess I'll try a burger and shake next to make my final judgement.

Great for BK
The burger is great. The drinks are great! The atmosphere is great! However, I don't remember going and hearing great music from the dJ. Yet, maybe it's just when I go. But when I am in BK and in the mood for a burger, Dutch boy is the place.

Ease up, you Gordon Ramsey's...
No, it was not perfect. It's a stripped-down burger joint, attached to a BAR, in a neighborhood that realtors describe as "up and coming". For all those reasons, I dig it. The hangover burger was good. I added the bacon for $1.50. It was a perfectly adequate amount of bacon. The service wasn't exactly swift, but if you're not a total douche and can wait a few minutes, they were very, very friendly and made sure to invite us back. The prices don't blow me away or anything, but it's a good burger.

You've Been Warned
If your place is a burger joint then it should have a kick ass burger. This was pretty disappointing. The food is really nothing special. A notch above a diner burger, not much more Also its damn pricey. For the same $ you can go to Dumont Burger and get the real deal. Also if you like a "whatever dude" attitude from servers then you're in luck. Its almost like a bad comedy skit. If you get food to go then double check it before you leave. Apparently its pretty hard to put food into a bag, or its just not cool or whatever man. This place has gotten over due to lack of of options on Franklin. I think that'll change.
