    Sure To Please!

Very nice menu selection, great happy hour specials and very reasonable prices. Everything we ordered was excellent, even the salads we started with were standouts. The food arrived quickly and delivered by a friendly, attentive, polite staff. My husband and I are sticklers for good service and Duo was a winner. You didn't have to search for your waitress, there was always someone close by more than willing to help with any questions or needs you might have. Decor was out right stunning and clean with pleanty of room to spread out which is a rare find in a NYC restaurant. Overall a great experience sure to please everyone.

Poorest Meal in over 3000 I've had in NYC

Service and atmosphere were excellent. Food was unappetizing. Fried shoestring sweet potatoes and calamari were not crisp. They were soggy. Short ribs were way overdone and tough. Temperature of the food luke warm. People from the bar standing next to our table eating and talking. Make sure you go to have great drinks and a great bar scene. Have fun don't have a meal just a snack.

    Love this place!

I went out for a girls night to DUO. We had an amazing time. Their specialty drinks are really tasty and the music was awesome. The music got a little louder around 8ish, which we loved cause it made the whole vibe even better. The food also was soooo good. As a fish person, I had the duo of ahi tuna for my appetizer and the salmon for my entree. Both were delicious. And, even though the place was busy, we had really good service. Love this place!

    Disappointing experience on Valentine's Day

While we understand that most restaurants add extra tables on Valentines day, this place goes to extremes. They would put tables on the ceilings if they could. They actually had a table almost inside the coat check in (I am not kidding). Our first table was next to the bathroom and then when we asked to be moved, they wanted to squish us in next to two tables that in order for us to sit town, they would have to make the other two couples stand up while the tables are separate. If my wife had to go to the bathroom, we would have to call the waiters, to seperate the tables again. On Valentines day, we did not want to eat next to a bathroom, or have dinner being forced to listen to two other couples. So we left and had dinner at a great restaurant in the area

    expected more

I do not understand how a place where you have to order drinks 5 times can get a good service review. The only thing going for this restaurant is decor which is either artsy or cheesy. The salad and the steaks arrived over salted. The steak also arrived not as asked for and had to be reordered. We had to talk to the manager and he was confrontational. I am not sure what else to say, for the price they charge, i would expect everything to be exquisite, not worse than a hot dog from a street vendor. Never again.

    Poor service

Showed up on a weekend night with no reservation and there was barely anyone there. Our waiter was not good. He would disappear and come back and serve the table next to us (which came in after us) and ignore us. We had to ask for water numerous times. He would reiterate the fact that we wanted water and then go off and the water would never come. Yet, he'd pop back next to us to make sure the other table was doing good (with his back to us the entire time so he wouldn't have to do anything). We literally had to ask at least five times for some water. When it came to taking our orders, he could've cared less about that too. Nothing asked for was given. The filet's (which weren't nice at all) were all cooked the exact same way, despite the different temperature requests. They came with a truffle butter which one of us requested be left off.

    not good

Looks great from the outside but the food & service were not good. My steak was undercooked & drinks were not mixed well.
