Cool little spot
Fun place. Great watching the old chinese folk making the dumplings in front of you. Dumplings are pretty good, especially when seared. Dumpling skin is nice and uniform, not too thick or gummy. One beef I had--the Golden Coin banana seemed to have no banana in it, seemed just like a little dumpling of fried dough with nothing else in it.

3-5 special great deal
3.50 for six dumplings and a drink is a steal for the quality of dumplings you get. Apart from the deal I'd recommend buying it frozen or check out other places down the street.

Better dumplings found elsewhere...
Dumplings were burned, rubbery, hard, dry, small, overpriced and not to ever be ordered again. Sauces not memorable. Sigh. Always looking for a good dumpling and you'd think that with "DUMPLING" in the title they would be good but NOT SO! and expensive to boot.

freshly made dumplings
My husband and I walked into this place without any expectations, and we had good experience. We ordered veg and shrimp dumplings. It was to our surprise that they don't start steaming dumplings until your order was placed. This practice keeps dumplings fresh :) Yum. We sat down in front of the kitchen station where you can watch people make dumplings. That was pretty fun too.

never again
Reheated, greasy and way too tough - and very expensive for the quality and serving size - nice little space and cute design - but other than that FORGET IT!

Peace Out Chinatown
Basically, these dumplings are what you wish the dumplings in Chinatown tasted like

Amazing dumplings!
This place is great. I had been meaning to try it for months, so when I got home and realized I had no food in the apt. I decided to give it a whirl. I tried 3 out of the 4 dumpling varieties: chicken, shrimp and veggie. I have to admit, I did not care for the veggie, but I am not a tofu fan, I just tried it for the hell of it. Shrimp and chicken were amazing. I also tried the hot monster sauce. Delicious. I am hooked.
