YUM!
Tried the sesame dumpling "sandwich" with kimchi and vegetables, it was DELICIOUS! Also only cost a dollar. You can't get any better than that!!!!

Tasty treat
This is one of my favorite places to eat in NYC. I don't think the dumplings here are the BEST i've ever had, but for what the place is....a no frills dumpling joint....you can't go wrong here! My usual is an order of steamed dumplings, an order of fried and a sesame pancake....that's a lot of food right there for under $4. You won't walk out hungry or poor! The place is tiny, so grab a seat the moment you see one free up if you plan to eat in....Enjoy!

Awesome dumplings!
This little, unassuming place serves up the best dumplings I've ever tasted, period. Five delicious fried dumplings for a dollar -- where else can you get a value like that? Everything is made from scratch right in front of you. Another great value: take 30 frozen dumplings for five dollars and fry them at home (I steam them first). Dumpling House is a tiny place and there is only enough room for a few people to eat there. The lady does not speak much (at least not in English). She will take your money and give you the corresponding number of dumplings. If you give her five dollars, she will assume you know enough to go in the freezer and take your frozen dumplings. Try it out, you want be disappointed!

Best ever
I moved from NYC to DC 2 years ago and I STILL miss Beijing Dumpling (at least that's what I thought the name of the place was). I have recently recommended it to someone visiting NY soon. Maybe I got better service/attention because I'm *not* Asian - though I was first taken there by an "insider". Anyway, I personally have no gripe with the service. I really hate sitting on bar stools though. My wish would be for a tiny table with regular chairs - even if you had to share it with a couple of strangers. These dumplings are as good as homemade - at least in the home I learned to make & eat them.

Best Dumpling House in Town
This place has absolutely the best and the cheapest dumplings in the city. I'd also recommend the "30 frozen dumplings for $5" deal. They'll give you a bag of frozen dumplings, which you can put in your backpack and carry it with you on the subways, and when you get home, the dumplings are still hard as rock! Then you can put them into your freezer, and at night, you can take them out and fry them and then eat them. The only thing is that the service of the place is horrendous. When I ordered the frozen dumplings, the lady yelled, "Do You want anything else?!?!" I said "No."

Delightful dollar dumplings
Go for the 5-for-a-dollar pan-fried dumplings and don't miss out on the sesame pancake with beef--more thick flatbread than pancake, this sesame-topped pizza-slice shaped sandwich packs a secret sauce that tempts you to go back for more. As for the service: make eye-contact, state your order, and wait for it to appear, you might think no one heard you, but they get it right every time.

Pocket full of change?
No Problem. Dumpling House. Delicious,Tasty, and Cheap. Got 2.50? Walk out with two orders of dumplings--- stop by the deli for a 50. soda.. or 25. sweet treat and get water back @ the studio. Don't wait too long for them to ask what you want (end up feeling like a chump when a little kid cuts in front of you.). Dinner is served....yummy.
