Never again
The food is only okay at best and if you in the mood for columbian than there is not much else. Check your delivery orders because the often leave things out while they charge you for them.

Delicious Colombian
I order in from here (via Seamless) regularly. There are tons of gluten-free options, including the areas and empanadas and some of the baked goods, including the delish and satisfying cheese breads.

Best Empanadas!
The only Colombian restaurant on the upper east side. If you go, you will come back.

The real deal
I'm from Queens living in NYC , being that Queens is a haven for all South American foods. I know whats up. So I was passing by and I saw this little sign that said empanadas(my favorite) so I was curious to taste one and I did .It was so delicious just like I'm use to . So on my way out I grabbed a menu . A week later I opened the menu and realized they had a bandeja paisa on the menu so I ordered it and just like the empanada it was delicious. Moral of the story is this is the real deal authentic Colombian food.

Great little place
The food and staff at Dulce Vida Cafe were delightful. The food was delicious and the staff gracious and welcoming. We wished we had discovered it before our last meal in NYC, but at least we found it. Don't forget to take home some bakery goods too.

Excellent deal!
The customer service at Dulce Vida was really attentive and enthusiastic. Our waiter was only too happy to answer questions about the food. I met a friend for coffee and we ended up staying for 3 hours. I had the arepa with beef which was fantastic. She had the paisa platter. We wrapped up the meal with some wonderfully light guava pastries. The atmosphere is casual - I think at most 16 people can be seated at any given time. While we were eating a lot of locals came in for take out. I would definitely go back.
