Awful
We were there for lunch today and these people were so rude. The waitress complained, slow service, complained, slow service. Save your money.

Not so sure anymore...
I live right around the corner from Duke's and love going there. Last time I went though I ordered the same thing I ALWAYS order and it always comes out perfect (grilled red snapper)... except this last time. It came out blackened (which isn't even an option for this particular fish dish) and I had asked for mashed potatoes instead of rice and got the rice. Normally I wouldn't complain and just deal with it, but there were just so many things wrong that I had to send it back. When I got the fish back grilled, I could tell that they had given me catfish instead of red snapper (huge difference... I'm really not a catfish fan). I ate it anyhow because I was starving and sick of complaining. I really do like this place but I really hope next time they can get things right. Busy or not, get the orders right!!!!

Groovy and scrumptious!
I've been to Duke's many times with the kids. When we arrive the staff is so cool with the kids. Placemats & balloons are given to my young ones. You have to love that it keeps the kids so busy. My youngest enjoys the kids Mac n cheese & my oldest girl tears up the chicken fingers. I always get the Kentucky club sandwich or 1/2 chicken. Always consistant and the staff takes care of my kids. It's hard to find that in NYC. It can get loud but bring the kids right after school before it gets crazy for happy hour.

Yummy Nachos
Their nachos are really yummy! I love the mac and cheese and they have the best french fries in the city.

Good Delivery
Dukes is a little expensive for my canine taste, but it is very good food. The burger and fries came in good packaging and they were not soggy. The burger was exceptionally well cooked. Good cheese and onions. The chicken tenders are the best, paws down, in midtown.

Cooling out!
My first dining experience in Duke's was at best average. Since then I've probably returned 6x's. I have to say that the place has come a long way over the last year. I know my service has improved & the food still rocks. I have also realized that the place has become more crowded during the peak dining hours. Im not sure what it all means but my theory is that in NYC if a restaurant is crowded then something must be good if not great!
