I got some take out from here tonight- maybe it was because I had pasta and not pizza, but it was not delicious. Baked ziti didn't seem baked- no browned bubbly crust, more like microwaved. Sauce was FULL of ricotta - which is normally not a bad idea but it really overwhelmed the sauce. Not to mention that it was penne, not ziti, but that was minor. Also garlic bread was mushy. I agree with the other poster about the garlic knot, but they threw it in for free in my order and it wasn't awful - just not garlicky.

Love their pizza. Service is always fast and really efficient. Atmosphere is below average, but I think they really focus on take-outs and deliveries.

Great variety and quality of single slices for a quick in and out meal, and great whole pies for a lazy night at home. My girlfriend and I usually order a ricotta white pizza, extra well done, and it comes to our door quickly and correctly. You'd be surprised at how many places have no idea what "well done" means. Also, as an added bonus for those of us without a dishwasher, they even include an ample amount of paper plates and napkins with each delivery. So whether you know it as Due Amici or New Amici, this place is well worth your time.

The pizza is awesome - especially barbecue chicken slices. The place is like any other NYC pizza joint - grimy.

This place is catering to the nearby NYU dorms of Third North and Alumni Hall. The pizza tastes like cardboard and they want you to get in and get out fast.

BBQ chicken is awesome! Plain slice isnt bad either. Good variety ....

I don't know what all of these negative nancies down there are talking about, but this is the best pizza I've ever had, and it's open really late.
