    tried and true

The staff is genuinely nice and accommodating. My friends have enjoyed the beef burgers with fun toppings and fillings, but I can't get myself to move on from their cod and scallop burger. Delicious and pleasantly lighter than beef, if that's your mood.

    Best burger ever

I don't believe I've ever had a better burger!! And the brussel sprouts are to die for. Can't wait to go again. A must every time I'm in NYC

    Out of control good!

The Brie & mushroom burger is so ridiculously good...as are the fries. The service is friendly and attentive. I'd say go there immediately, but it's my favorite place in the neighborhood and I don't want it to get too crowded so ugh look elsewhere.

    Burger Heaven!!

Been to Dubuque twice now. I have to say I don't remember when I've had a better burger experience. Had the pesto and mushroom stuffed burgers with a side order of deliciously seasoned fries. The beer selection is excellent and reasonably priced-- as is the rest of the menu. Went on a weekend both times and our waiter was very friendly, courteous and attentive. Place is small and nothing fancy, but who cares if the food is good. Place was hopping both times and I can see why. We will deal with the crowds and definitely be back!!

    Best Lamb burger ever

Just went to Dubuque for the first time today and am still happily full, with a big smile on my face. They were doing a brisk business, and everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming, from the waiter to the owners to the fellow patrons. The roasted brussels sprouts with bacon and (extra yum!) pine nuts were delicious and I will order that again. But the lamb burger was the real star for me. It was cooked to perfection on a lightly toasted bun with tzatziki - I love lamb burgers and have never had better. Also - this may seem like a tiny thing, but I'm not a cole slaw person and the small serving of cole slaw that came with the burger was fresh and tasty and this is the first time I've ever devoured a side of cole slaw and then pilfered more from my dinner companion's plate. Wonderful neighborhood place that was worth the ride from Manhattan and made me wish I lived in the neighborhood!

    Cool Burger Joint !

Went on a Saturday night and really enjoyed ourselves. Service was great, the chef even came out to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Burgers were great. My gf and I like our burgers well done and they were still nice and juicy. Fries and the mac & cheese were very tasty. It's a cozy spot to get a burger and a beer. Will be back to try the pork burger !

    A small gem

This place is by far the best place to have a burger and a brew. Small yes, but friendly and attentive, a far cry from the hipster crap attitude you get from other places, and at 1/10 the price. By all means go, and have some good food and a good time.
