I've been to Druids three times now and it is a very good restaurant. You really know you're in New York here. The food is excellent and not the same old thing. Very well presented and delicious. The service is so great, you feel like you've come home when you're here. The garden is adorable and the bar is great. Very good value. I will continue to come to Druids when I'm in the city. You'll love it!

Druids restaurant not only offers great food with polite prompt and effecient service, but provides an "old school" environment with a clientele not too common amongst local establishments. At Druids, you'll find local bar flys interspersed amongst the New york Times or Wall Street Journal writers, local and established painters, photographers, or playwrights. It's a great place with great people engulfed in a history deeply embedded in the neighborhood previosly called "Hells Kitchen".

One of my favorite things about Spring in NY is that Druids back garden will be open! I've been going to Druids for years. The food is remarkably good - for on what first glance - you might take as another Irish pub. Really, the steaks are great - as are the salads and burgers. The service is always good - and the staff friendly. I love that the walls feature the work of local artists and change every few weeks (you can buy the work). This has long been an after theatre haunt for Irish Rep and EST folk.

Didn't get a chance to try the food, just stopped in for a drink. Really cozy, nice decor.
