    Perfect Evening!

Came for my husband's birthday and was blown away from the quality food, romantic atmosphere & fabulous service. i am shocked to see any negative reviews on here! From the red wine to the ravioli, crab cakes, hanger steak, trout and chocolate souffle, the food was incredible as was the attentive service. It was the perfect celebration dinner at such a great WBURG spot. We will definitely be back!

    Not winning in Williamsburg

From start to finish, this was a disappointment. We walked into the restaurant and were excited by the crowded atmosphere. 20 minutes to order a bottle of wine, an appetizer that came out within a minute of ordering, which lead me to believe it was either a premade crab cake or it was reheated. But either way, it was flavorless. The meal progressively got even more disappointing. The chicken was subpar, the sea bass was dry and the dessert was equally disappointing. We left disappointed and hungry.

Perhaps we should have came for dinner.

Nice Decor, quite quaint, but a bit muddled. Service is shoddy and spotty. The brunch was nice, but unremarkable. Small portion sizes, especially for brunch. My mom complained her sturgeon was too salty. My sisters burger was ok, she was expecting more for 14.00. My ravioli was nice tasting but the texture was way off. Not my idea of fine dining. The service completely inattentive. Would love to try the dinner but am now a bit skeptical.

    Disappointing

I went to Dressler recently, excited having made a reservation for my girlfriend and I as we had heard that the food was good. It was, for the most part, the veal ragout being the best of the dishes, with the beet salad being second. I got the cod special, but it was cooked perhaps 30 seconds too long. However, our night was ruined by the service. We were rushed the entire time, until the staff realized there was no one waiting for a table at 22:30 and just ignored us for 45 minutes or so. We're not going to be returning, especially after we learned some friends had also gotten rude service.

    A Must!

All around fantastic restaurant. Beautiful space, excellent service and sublime food. I go out to eat a lot to all of the "in" places and this was on my list for years - so glad I finally went. It's right up there with one of the best around.

    Lovely Dinner

My boyfriend and I decided to try the Dressler as we normally eat out on Restaurant Row in Brooklyn. But, the website sold us. The atmosphere was just as beautiful in person. The waitstaff and manager were very attentive and helpful (esp. in explaining all the specials of the night). I started w/2 versions of hamachi (east vs. west) and my bf the oysters. We both loved ours. Then we both had the duo of beef for dinner (though I had hanger steak/short ribs and my bf the prime sirloin/short ribs). Both were cooked perfectly. I really love the short rib. I couldn't fit in dessert but my bf had the sorbet. Nothing special there but still good. I would def. go back.

    So romantic

I love the food, truly amazing. And I also loved the dark atmosphere, really misterious I think it is the ultimate place for a date!
