Very good indeed
Having lived in Paris for 40 years and still do, I found Dresner's very good, their Friday night Lobster was well prepared. And a great value compared to here.

will so go back
We live near this restaurant but haven't gone in ages. We were really happy we rediscovered it. They have Prix Fixe specials which are incredibly good value and delicious. One entree was huge, included pork lamb and steak. Not sure how they didn't lose money on it. The red potatoes and green beans on the side were browned perfectly with garlic. We also ordered a daily standard, fish and chips, and it was pretty much double the portion from another restaurant a block south we used to frequent. The fish was flaky inside and crunchy outside. They fries were just right, also. We had enough leftover of both meals for the next day. As for the service, they didn't have a lot of tables and the waiter kept coming and asking if everything was ok. I happen to love the dark wood walls and fabric tablecloths. We sat in the glass walled terrace area, which is probably really nice in the summer for sipping cocktails. Our local diners have been raising their dinner prices so much that it's almost the same price to go for prix fixe here, and the atmosphere is much more soothing and beautiful.

So very tired, the servers, decor, food
If you want to get a preview of Nursing Home/Assisted Living Food -- this is the place for you! Every entree and appetizer for our party of 5 was overcooked, and or cold. There is absolutely nothing good I can say about this place!

Good Spot
I've been here several times now and have been consistently pleased with the food and service. It has a non-pretentious atmosphere but that doesn't affect the food adversely at all. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the prices are reasonable.

Never a Bad Meal
Have to say that we eat often at this neighborhood restaurant. Great food and not too hard on your pocket... Have tried various items off the regular menu and specials are always good... Love the fish specials they are always fresh never frozen. Staff is extremely helpful always. Come up and give it a try you won't be disappointed.

New favorite spot
This is my new favorite restaurant, especially for brunch. I've been looking for a good brunch place in the neighborhood for a while, and finally found it! the best part is you get a basket of muffins/scones to your table as soon as you arrive, fresh out of the oven. so far i've had 2 omelettes (veggie, provolone, asked for no ham and swiss, mushroom, and spinach) which are fantastic, as are the cinnamon raisin french toast and sourdough waffles. my friend loves the chicken marsala for dinner. the atmosphere is cozy, the booths are quite comfy, the service is impeccable. highly recommend!

Great food/atmosphere/esp. the brunch
Since the Wicked Wolf, Willie's and other far east seventies staples have closed, Dresners's which is under new management has really helped fill the gap. Some of the same personnel from the Wicked Wolf work there. I especially love the weekend brunch with creme fraiche, Irish bacon (rashers) and popovers which is hard to find on the upper east side.
