    Very Good all around!

Been living in the EV for about 8 years now. And familiar with the establishments for about 15 and sorry to say until about 3 months ago I never knew of this place. I hardly ever post a review but this place is certainly something special. Came across this on my own one night and as others have mentioned there was a certain risk in mind from the immediate appearance but I braved it and the result I cannot explain. Highly recommened by someone that appreciates the real package. I probably have eaten everywhere downtown at some point and you will never forget a delicious real mexican burito for $5bucks. The others in the area are good but this is better.

    Overrated

I've ordered here about 6 times and the food has ranged from good to poor and never great. Based on a review here I got a dish with mole poblano that was inedible. The sauce was overly sweet and taste like a condiment you'd get at a fast food restaurant. The spinach taste like it was boiled in dirty water. The chips are bland and you don't get much guacamole. The beans in the bean burrito were dry and the portion of beans to the rest of the filling was way out of wack (too large a serving of beans.) I gave this place too many chances. I won't be ordering from here again.

    Great, authentic Mexican

My girlfiend and I LOVE Mexican food. We try to find differrent spots all over the city. This place is a gem! The atmosphere is not great (only 3 tables,) but that is part of the beauty of it. The food is as authentic as we have had in the city... The staff is wonderful, and the prices are great. The chimichangas are excellent, as well as the pork tacos. I HIGHLY recommend a trip to the LES for this great "hole in the wall."

    Fresh Delicious Mexican Food

You must try this place! It looks like a hole in the wall but trust me, you won't be disappointed. Great takeout or you can eat at one of the three available tables. There food is so fresh and delicious! I live in the neighborhood and I eat here at least once a week. The food never disappoints and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

    Sooo good....

After trying the chicken nachos I was hooked! This place is great. The food is sooo fresh and sooo good---- not to mention the value. You get a lot of food for a little money. I order from here every week and I've never been disappointed by any of my choices.

As fresh as any food in your kitchen

I've lived in this neighborhood for the past 13 years, this place is a place I can always count to deliver, the literal and that I never am disappointed. Everything is made fresh, fresh to the point that they throw the chicken on the pan JUST for your order. Most places have premade breaded chicken cutlets, not here..... no meat is premade - none of it for that matter. It's a shame that the place looks like a hole in the wall, if not for a Peruvian friend who showed me to it, I'd probably never go in, it really doesn't look like anything special. The food is fantastic, the prices are fabulous - where can you have a freshly made delicious meal, a drink and then a dessert for under $10? Maybe McDonalds but I wouldn't dare compare the quaity of the food.....ever. If you like mexican, check this place out..... it will be just as good if not better than your current favorite place. 20+ reviews raving about this place can't be all wrong! Enjoy...
