I think it is great food, and quite authentic!! guess you have to order things like the burritos and tamelis

The food is sloppy, cheap mexican. Not really worth it. Also, they serve Tortilla brand chips from the grocery store. The food is low end but still good if that's what you're looking for. The guys who work there are really friendly and fast, that's a big plus. Only come here if your looking for cheap fast food mexican.

the carne asada burrito is a home-run. Topped with some guacomole and green spicy salsa verde makes it a grand-slam...

So all this summer I lived right around the corner from downtown bakery....and on my budget I cant deny they were a god sent...they took care of me like my mah!!! ney like my grand mah-mah wish she could...these people are awesome....I recently came back to the city JUST for a "la Morena" special burrito and i treated my brother to a "Juicy Lucy" special with the works and after the first bite he was in a NEW YORK STATE of mind.....downtown bakery you guys have something special going on...Please please, Por favor open up a place in the Boston ALREADY..!!!

chile rellenos in salsa chilpotle, chicken mole tacos, shrimp flautas & watermelon juice... omygod downtown bakery are pros in the kitchen..the staff is so cool and friendly the dude with the long hair is so chill and i cant say enough about the food..its so good i once bit my tongue cuz my butrrito was so delicious...i can't wait to go back...see you there..woohooooo
