So all this summer I lived right around the corner from downtown bakery....and on my budget I cant deny they were a god sent...they took care of me like my mah!!! ney like my grand mah-mah wish she could...these people are awesome....I recently came back to the city JUST for a "la Morena" special burrito and i treated my brother to a "Juicy Lucy" special with the works and after the first bite he was in a NEW YORK STATE of mind.....downtown bakery you guys have something special going on...Please please, Por favor open up a place in the Boston ALREADY..!!!

this place has good food, nice people as well. wide varity of cheap fair.

This is my favorite Mexican spot in the city. I can't eat burritos anywhere else now.

chile rellenos in salsa chilpotle, chicken mole tacos, shrimp flautas & watermelon juice... omygod downtown bakery are pros in the kitchen..the staff is so cool and friendly the dude with the long hair is so chill and i cant say enough about the food..its so good i once bit my tongue cuz my butrrito was so delicious...i can't wait to go back...see you there..woohooooo

only had the breakfast burritos here, but they have great flavor, great value, good ingredients, and a super nice chill dude. can't say enough about this place.

The food here is amazing. I've never lived in LA or San Diego, so I can't say whether it compares, but who cares if the Mexican food is better in LA, we are in NY and the food at Downtown Baker is great, and the guy at the counter couldn't be nicer (can't say whether it's always the same guy).

ive eaten alot out in alot of mexican restuarants... but downtown bakery is by fart the best/authentic mexican food ever. Im hooked to the chicken chipotle burrito, the tortas and breakfast tacos chorizo con papa. Along with this amazing food comes the friendly service, but the best part of all this is that it will not break ur bank eating there ...cant wait till breakfast time tomorrow ..=D
