I liked Donut Plant in Manhattan. But when I went here, GOOD GRIEF! I have only tried three of the flavors, but the donuts are very big, very flavorful, and the price is reasonable. I understand that everything is natural. There is always a line out the door. Since they do so much volume, they are baking all day long and nothing gets stale. It is just a hole in the wall, a small place with few stools along the front I think. So plan on taking these donuts with you. Wholefoods in Brooklyn sells their donuts too, but they are not as fresh.

I went to Dough in Bed-Sty in Brooklyn. They're hand making all of their doughnuts and glazes, and have glass windows at their kitchen so you can watch them craft everything right there. These are some serious doughnuts, definitely larger than most, so, you won't leave hungry. Dulce De Leche is the one to try.

These are the best donuts I've ever had. I've been here many times. On my first visit, I couldn't believe how the dough almost melts in your mouth. As soon as you walk in it smells like heaven. There is such a wide variety of flavored glazes available. Many flavors I've never heard of on a donut. I must mention that these donuts are huge. My favorite flavors are: plain glazed, toasted coconut, chocolate nibs, cinnamon sugar, cafe au laut, and Nutella stuffed. I couldn't work in this place, I'd get diabetes!

Love it. I purchased a box of 6. Which was 13. And change. It was worth it.
