    Yum!

I have only eaten there once so far, but what I have had has been very impressive. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly, well seasoned. The corn bread is off the hook- not like Jiffy corn bread- more like what you get in an after-church meal down south. Broccoli- great, beans and brown rice was good, but did not wow me like the rest of the food. Prices were a little higher than expected, but I enjoyed my meal.

    Completely unsatisfying

I went to the restaurant around 11:30pm on a Saturday night. I was completely shocked this since the place stayed open until 6am that the food did not look fresh. The food looked as if it had been sitting for over a day. I ordered chicken fingers and waffles and my boyfriend ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken fingers were dry and lacked any kind of taste. My boyfriend said that the chicken was not flavorful. When I asked the girl behind the counter for syrup she handed me a bottle and then said "wait let me make sure this is syrup" she took the bottle from me and smelled it! I also was concerned that the people behind the counter were sweating and eating while they were serving. I was all in favor of supporting a local business but my visit has turned me off completely.

    Great Food, Never Open

The first time I had your food I was completely satisfied with the taste. The fried chicken was incredibly delicious. The rice unfortunately was too mushy and had a bland taste. your yams were out of this world. The other food was o delicious that ever since then I have been trying to go back for dinner, but the restaurant is always closed. I find this to be disappointing because I would love to see you take over Harlem. Especially since everyone else's so called soul food is not soul food. I found your food to taste better than Sylvia's which I had for the first time as I am a new resident of the area. I went because there was nothing but rave about her food, but left disaapointed. PLEASE hurry up and fix this.

    Off Days On Days

One day I ordered fries and they were a little over cold and not cooked. They open off and on they open when they want a little cheap with the food but oh well
